Gift certificates are issued individually, upon purchase, to the end recipient of the gifts. Gift certificates are not transferrable. The following terms of service will apply:

• Dollar-Value certificates may be redeemed any time while valid, pending chef's availability.
• Personal Chef certificates may be redeemed Mon-Thurs only while valid, pending chef's availability.
• Menu changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the Session.
• Certificates issued with set menus may be "upgraded" for an additional fee.
• Cancellation of a scheduled Session with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the Session.*

Gift certificates are issued with an expiration date. The recipient is obligated to contact Chef JoAnna, Inc. to schedule the session appointment before the certificate expires. Please be aware that dates surrounding holidays, as well as dates during the month of December, will be booked far in advance, so please plan accordingly.

The above applies to all gift certificates issued by Chef JoAnna, Inc., with no exception.

Following is the cancellation/rescheduling policy for any scheduled sessions:

• 7 or more days notice: you can choose to pay a $40 rescheduling fee, or to reduce the certificate's value by that amount.
• 3 or more days notice: you can choose to pay a $80 rescheduling fee, or to reduce the certificate's value by that amount.
• 2 days (48 hours) or less notice: you will void the certificate*.

These fees will be collected in advance of rescheduling services, and regardless of whether I book another client for that timeslot.

*While I do try to be flexible and accommodating, I am the only person who does Personal Chef work for my company. When I reserve a date for you, I will turn down work for other clients on that date. Please be considerate and allow as much notice as possible.

I understand that emergencies happen, and fees may be reduced at my discretion... I enjoy what I do, but cooking isn't a hobby for me, it is how I make my living.
