Chef JoAnna will visit your home and get a feel for what your kitchen is like. She will do a brief inventory of your cooking appliances and help you decide how you want your food served.

In-Home Catering means you pay lower rates because of lower overhead.
(Traditional caterers have to rent certified kitchens at over $80/hr.)

At-Home Receptions

If you desire a simpler, more casual event or similar reception, consider a smaller, in-home affair.

If an elegant cocktail party is your style, lovely platters of Hors d'Oeuvres passed by uniformed servers, complemented by a few small buffet stations of veggies, dips, breads and assorted domestic and imported cheeses, will help you control costs without sacrificing quality or service.
Should you want a more substantial meal, consider a buffet where guests can help themselves to a variety of foods prepared from scratch that very day.
The Chef will arrange for everything you need, helping you to determine if you want to purchase disposables or rent china and glassware, and will make arrangements to rent tables, chairs, and everything you need to make your guests comfortable.

Finally, Chef JoAnna can recommend a licensed and insured bartender that brings all the supplies and equipment necessary for a full-service bar, or simply a bartender who will mix drinks and pour the liquors, wines and beers that you provide.

A most unique proposal...

Going out to dinner doesn't afford you the intimacy you want to cultivate for your special events. Staying in is the new going out!

A fairytale wedding proposal:
Robert and Mindy are busy attorneys. They often enjoy eating at L.A.'s finest restaurants. Robert was planning to propose to Mindy, but a fussy restaurant wasn't the cosy setting he wanted. Robert called Chef JoAnna, asking her to design a very special dinner for this very special occasion. The meal started with Oysters Rockefeller, followed by an entrée of Filet Mignon, Then, over the dessert Chef JoAnna created out of Mindy's favorites (chocolate, Kahlúa & raspberries) Robert popped the question.

...Of course, Mindy said yes!
